LGBTQ+ trip to Florence

We love all our guests. What matters to us is the person: for this reason our welcome is proudly rainbow. Stay in the center of Florence at the 4-star Grand Hotel Adriatico and discover places and attractions that symbolize Florentine inclusiveness.

Florence, open and inclusive

A pioneer in the fight against discrimination since the time of Leopold II, Florence is an open and welcoming city.
Near our hotel, in the Uffizi Gallery you can admire works inspired by love at 360°. Celebrated in all its forms, sentiment recalls beauty and sensuality in classical and mythological representations, while embracing the philosophy of pure love in Renaissance paintings.
The Bargello National Museum is a must to appreciate the encounter between homoeroticism and culture. From Donatello's David to Cellini's Rape of Ganymede, the gallery guides you in the discovery of homoerotic art, from its origins to sanctification.
Florence promises inclusion and hospitality even in the evening, in gay-friendly bars and clubs. Piccolo Caffè, Queer and Crisco Club are three points of reference for the LGBTQ+ community: enjoy aperitifs and dinners, listen to live music and savor excellent drinks.
In 2023 Florence is also the epicenter of two major rainbow events.
Toscana Pride arrives on Saturday 8 July: the most important regional event of the LGBTQ+ community will parade through the streets of the historic center, with shows and themed meetings from morning to evening.
From 18 to 22 October the prestigious film festival Florence Queer Festival – International LGBT film festival will be staged. Scheduled at the La Compagnia cinema from 18 to 22 October, the screenings tell stories against all stereotypes.

Proudly by your side

The soul of the Grand Hotel Adriatico is without prejudice: we are in fact members of ILGTA, the association of travel agents specialized in rainbow tourism.
The gay friendly spirit of our hotel has inspired the "D&I" (Diversity and Inclusion) protocol, which establishes the cornerstones of our hospitality: inclusion, self-determination and anti-discrimination. Created in collaboration with AIGLT and Sonders&Beach, it guides our hospitality with respect for diversity. From the rooms to the wellness treatments, from the Opera Restaurant to the romantic settings, our services focus on the individual in his uniqueness.
Experience rainbow Florence: book your stay now with our special offer and discover places and symbols of Florentine inclusiveness, just a few steps from our hotel.
